→Electrostatics is made up of two words
Electro + Statics. The word Electro
means charge and Statics means rest.
Thus electrostatics is that subject of
physics in which we study about the
phenomena that takes place due to
charge at rest
→It is that property of material due to
which it produces or experiences
magnetic effect & electrical effects.
→In simple language it is that property
of material due to which any
material attract or repeal any other
charged object.
